Gruaduation dissertation / Final examination

The final examination for the Second cycle Degree involves executing a substantial design or analysis task in the field of electronic engineering. This is agreed in conjunction with a lecturer, and covers one of the areas of the course, along with a sizeable personal contribution of the student. Candidates to the final examination draft a thesis, and by present it to a relevant Board constituted in accordance with the course Regulations. The task presented and discussed in the final examination is generally carried out in the research laboratories of the Department of Information Engineering, but can also be conducted in industrial laboratories or within national and foreign research institutes. During the final examination, the candidates must display a solid grounding in the subjects, the ability to work independently and suitable communication skills.
